            On May 27th, the Ministry of Finance, National Development and Reform Commission, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued the "Notice on Stopping the Promotion Policy of Subsidies for Energy saving Home Appliances" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice").
      The Notice points out that since the implementation of the energy-saving subsidy policy, the promotion effect has been significant, the market share of energy-saving home appliances has increased significantly, the effect of driving consumption is obvious, and the expected policy goals have been basically achieved. The Notice also provides specific notices on relevant matters: Firstly, the promotion policy of energy-saving home appliances subsidies will cease to be implemented after its expiration, that is, from June 1, 2013, consumers who purchase five types of energy-saving home appliances such as air conditioners, flat screen TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and water heaters will no longer enjoy the central government subsidy policy; 2、 Energy saving home appliance promotion enterprises should collect and organize product production and sales information as soon as possible, timely fill in relevant information to the "Energy saving Product Benefit Project Information System", and prepare an annual subsidy fund settlement report. After being reviewed by the finance, development and reform, industry and information technology authorities in the place where the enterprise is registered, the report should be submitted to the Ministry of Finance, National Development and Reform Commission, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology by June 30, 2013; 3、 The Ministry of Finance, National Development and Reform Commission, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will liquidate subsidy funds based on the data reported by enterprises and relevant audit results; 4、 Relevant enterprises and local departments should cooperate with each other to enable consumers to timely and accurately understand policy regulations. Local departments should strengthen publicity while coordinating various aspects, carefully reviewing and timely reporting enterprise promotion materials.
